Profile

Following on from a successful career in graphic design and account management in the advertising industry, Louella studied with renowned teacher and artist Annette Pringle. She now dedicates her time to exploring her own ideas as a contemporary mixed media artist.

Over the last five years Louella has successfully exhibited in numerous group shows, including The Edge Group, as well as five solo exhibitions. Her work is also represented through Artsource and Global Gallery in Paddington.

Louella's work has always been well received and sought after as an emerging artist, leading to many sales and commissions to private and corporate collections in Australia and internationally, including New York, London, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Amsterdam and New Zealand.

Louella develops her work largely through inspiration from travels, cultural imagery, and the ever-changing beauty of nature, and how humanity relates within that environment. Her exhibition work is usually based on a conceptual theme with an underlying organic tone and texture to her work, expressed with the use of mixed media.
