Following on from the success of the Balmain exhibition, I launched the next stage of my journey with 'Earth Mother', my first solo show at Finks Gallery Cafe in Waverton. On the opening night I had signature 'desk rocks' and 'door rocks' available for sale reflecting the theme. You will see the continuation of the rock images interspersed with other forms from nature and further exploration of the 'Rockpeople'. The 'Earth Mother' series evokes thoughts of nature's power and a mother's strength, as the natural shapes and sculptural figures emerge through the abstract image, linking colour, tonal values and form, creating an idealistic impression of harmonious balance between man and the land on which he so depends.
